5 Things: Crash Victim ID'd, Magic Store Remains Open, City Council Tonight

Good morning, here are five things to know today:
The owner of Hank Lee's Magic Factory in Medford has agreed to plead guilty to making over $500,000 in unauthorized transactions on a customer's credit card, but the magic trick store apparently has no plans to close. Harry Levy, 61, of Lexington agreed to plead guilty Friday to one count of credit card fraud and one count of making false statements , according to court documents. As of Monday morning, the store's website remained open for business and the phones were still being answered at Hank Lee's Magic Factory. A man who answered the phone Monday said Levy would not comment on the case.
2. City Council: The council has a busy night tonight, with a subcommittee for public safety meeting and a committee of the whole meeting before its regular 7 p.m. meeting. The subcommittee meeting will include discussion on a possible new location for a police department, and the committee of the whole meeting will include an update on the proposed Governors Avenue parking garage.

3. Weather: Sunny skies are expected today with highs close to 60 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Similar weather is expected tomorrow.
A Methuen woman died and her passenger was seriously injured during a crash on Route 93 early Sunday morning, according to a State Police press release. Police identified the accident victim as Ashleigh Baudin, 25. Her passenger—a Medford man—has not been identified by police. The accident occurred about 3:30 a.m. on I-93 South in Stoneham.

National Grid has extended by one month, to April 16, the period during which "protected" customers have a little longer to pay their utility bills without interruption in service. State regulations prohibit electric and natural gas companies from suspending service for non-payment from Nov. 15 through March 15.
