Good morning, here are five things to know today:

Legislators who represent Medford will be on-hand at 6:30 p.m. tonight at City Hall for an informational meeting on the proposed MBTA cuts and fare increases. In their meeting last night, the city council passed a resolution urging MBTA general manager Jonathan Davis to attend the meeting. Councilor Richard Caraviello assured the council that Davey will receive the request. “I will physically bring it to his office,” he said.

5. Sidewalk, Stump Removal Bond Tabled: A Bond to fund $500,000 in sidewalk repairs in Medford was tabled by the city council last night because three city councilors wanted more specific information on which sidewalks and stumps would be addressed. The city currently has a list of 519 sidewalks and 319 stumps that they would aim to address with the money. But while DPW Commissioner Jack Buckley believed it would likely be enough money to do the repairs within the calendar year, he couldn't guarantee it. City Councilor Michael Marks said he wanted more detail, and Councilors Breanna Lungo-Koehn and Robert Penta agreed. “It’s lacking, it’s just not enough,” Marks said.
