1. Pregnant Medford Woman Dead in Tragic Florida Accident: Alanna Masterson DeMella, a Medford woman who was 7 months pregnant, died Sunday when a car barreled off the road and crashed into her and her husband's poolside vacation cabana in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., according to multiple news outlets. DeMella reportedly worked for Arlington Public Schools.

2. 70s Today, Could Be 80 Tomorrow: Sunny skies with highs in the low-70s are expected today, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures could climb to 80 degrees tomorrow.

Before it's regular 7 p.m. meeting at City Hall tonight, the council will hold a committee of the whole at 5:30 p.m. in room 207 to discuss a proposed $2.3 million bond for renovations to the Brooks Estate. During its regular meeting, the council has a resolution on the table calling for the city to look into whether the Springstep building could be purchases and turned into a police headquarters.
