5 Things: Suspected Phone Thief Arrested, High School Play Opens Thursday

1. Suspected Phone Thief Arrested: The Metro reports that an East Boston man suspected of stealing cell phones in multiple incidents along the Orange Line -- including Wellington Station -- has been arrested. Angel Carpio, 22, allegedly grabbed a phone from a rider's hand when the train doors opened at Wellington Station on March 9.
Medford High School Drama Club's production of The Drowsy Chaperone opens Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. at Caron Theater in the high school. Tickets are $10 for adults.
3. Weather: There's a 40 percent change of showers today with highs expected in the mid-50s, according to the National Weather Service. Highs are expected in the upper 40s tomorrow with a 50 percent chance of precipitation.

City Hall will host a concert fundraiser Saturday from 7 p.m to 10 p.m. for the Medford Farmers Market, featuring local bands, food from local restaurants and a cash bar. Tickets can be bought in advance online through the Market's website, at C.B. Scoops in West Medford, or Mystic Coffee Roaster in Medford Square. The cost is $20 in advance, $25 at the door.
