Sunny Day: Early morning fog will make way for a sunny day, according the National Weather Service. Highs expected to be in the low 50s.

: A school district's technology committee has submitted a report recommending the district purchase a laptop or tablet computer for every high school student by the 2012-2013 school year. A bond would have to be passed by the city council, who recently had a contentious debate surrounding the use of electronic devices.

: This play date at Carr Park is open to all. Head down to meet member and find out how to have free babysitting at 3 p.m. But contact the Medford Family Network at 781-393-2106 first, to register.

: Meet at Flynn Rink on Elm Street at 9 a.m. for the clean up day, co-sponsored by the Fells Dog Owner Group, Friend of the Middlesex Fells, New England Mountain Bike Association and Massachusetts Sierra Club.

: The world-famous Tufts Beelzebubs and the Bubs Foundation host the 21st annual Harmony Sweepstakes. Proceeds help support vocal music programs in Boston-area public schools. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased through Cohen Auditorium Box Office at 617-627-3493.
