Good morning, here are five things to know today.
State Police say a Medford man sideswiped a State Police cruiser while driving under the influence of alcohol in Lynnfield Wednesday night. It is the third time Vance Brown, 52, has been charged with operating under the influence, according to State Police.
2. 'Medford Stories' Project Seeks Adults to Tell Their Stories: Medford Stories is looking for adults willing to share their stories with a young person. The project, funded by a Medford Health Matters Grant, aims to pair middle school and high school-aged students with seniors and immigrants to tell stories of Medford and American history. It is looking for adults willing to be interviewed three times in the month of April.

Tufts University will hold its annual kids day on April 14. But today is the deadline to sign up. Online registration is available at http://ase.tufts.edu/lcs/kids_day/registration.asp.
4. Rain Likely Today, But a Sunny Weekend: There's a 60 percent chance of rain today with highs expected around 50 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Mostly sunny skies are expected over the weekend, with highs in the upper-50s Saturday and upper-60s Sunday.

A familiar face has opened a new hair salon in Haines Square. Nancy Campobasso, formerly a stylist at , opened her own salon at 429 Salem Street on March 7 called Nancy's Family Salon. A Medford native and graduate of Medford Vocational High School, Campobasso is aiming to make her shop a place for kids and adults to get styled, she said.
