UPDATED: Fire Reported On Boston Avenue in Medford

A brief but "heavy" blaze occurred at a Medford residential building.

A single-alarm fire broke out in a Medford residence on Wednesday evening.

A representative from the Medford Fire Department stated that the fire started in the second-floor attic area, a bit before 7 p.m.

No injuries were reported, and the cause remains under investigation.

The majority of the blaze at 71 Boston Ave. was doused by approximately 7:30 p.m.
