The City of Medford, Planning, Development & Sustainability Department (formally Office of Community Development), is seeking proposals for its July 1, 2022 – June 30, 2023, CDBG Public Services Program.  Proposed projects must be able to demonstrate a clear role in improving the quality of life for low and moderate-income citizens of Medford and must further the goals of self-sufficiency and self-reliance for Medford residents.

The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program provides communities with resources to address a wide range of unique community development needs. Beginning in 1974, the CDBG program is one of the longest continuously run programs at HUD. The CDBG program provides annual grants on a formula basis to local governments and States.

The City of Medford/Office of Community Development is seeking proposals for the provision of public services to low- and moderate-income Medford residents, including underserved and at-risk populations.  CDBG funding is for July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023.                                                                                                                    Eligible programs must be able to demonstrate primary benefit to low- and moderate-income Medford residents, the elderly, handicapped or other populations with physical, financial, and/or emotional limitations.  Please note that City of Medford CDBG program funding can only be used to serve residents of Medford.
