City Shares Recent Green Honors
City is also starting a new Go Green Initiative for residents.
At a recent city press conference, Carey Duques, Medford's director of energy and environmental agent, and Alicia Hunt, the city's energy efficiency coordinator, shared several of the city's recent environmental honors.
The city recently took home the 2012 City Livability Award from the U.S. Conference of Mayors and the Kenneth E. Pickard Municipal Innovation Award from the Massachusetts Municipal Association.
