COVID-19 Cases Linked To Medford Restaurant

The Board of Health is advising recent customers to get tested for the coronavirus.

MEDFORD, MA — The Board of Health on Friday announced COVID-19 cases related to a local restaurant. Customers of Bocelli's Restaurant from Dec. 1 to Dec. 6 are urged to take a coronavirus test, health officials said.

The advisory applies to both dine-in and takeout customers.

Meanwhile, Medford was labeled a moderate-risk community by the state Thursday, despite reporting rising case counts and positive test rates. The city averaged 49.73 daily cases per 100,000 residents and a test rate of 2.23 percent over the last two weeks.

Medford added 423 coronavirus cases during that time, bringing it to 2,219 cases since March.
