An early morning fire ripped through a two-family home on Lincoln Street in Medford Thursday.

The heavy blaze broke out just before 2 a.m. Upon arrival at the home, crews were faced with thick, billowing smoke.

Flames spread from the second floor of the home and engulfed the roof. The building was deemed a complete loss.

Two people were stuck on the first floor, but were safely rescued after nearly two hours, FOX25 reports.
