Fire Log: Snow Causes Rash of Wrecks

A slew of car accidents in Medford on Monday coincided with the season's first snow fall.

Between 3:10 p.m. and 3:40 p.m., the Medford Fire Department responded to five motor vehicle accidents in the city, according to fire department records. Two of the accidents were on I-93 - one southbound and one northbound - and two other calls were received for accidents on Spring St., according to the fire log.

Medford DPW trucks were out in force on Monday evening, and accident calls slowed down.
