Medford Preparing Grand Police Memorial

MEDFORD, MA — The city’s Police Relief Association is raising funds to construct a special memorial for fallen police officers at Oak Grove Cemetery on Playstead Road.

The new police memorial will honor all deceased members of the Medford Police Department, according to the MPRA. In order to fund the memorial, specific pavers that can be dedicated to a current, retired, or deceased officer can be purchased for $150 between now and Tuesday, Jan. 6.

The memorial is slated to be completed in May 2026.
