2. THEROUX IN THE NEW YORKER: A short story by Medford native and author Paul Theroux appears in the Feb. 25 edition of the New Yorker (subscription required). Theroux, perhaps best known as the author of the novel The Mosquito Coast, wrote "The Furies" about a man who returns to Medford for his 40th high school reunion.
