Mayor McGlynn to Hold Final 'State of the City' Address

Outgoing Medford Mayor Michael J. McGlynn announced the date for his final “State of the City” address. He has held office since 1988.

McGlynn will hold the address on Sunday, Nov. 29, at Medford City Hall. It will begin at 1 p.m.

All residents and family members have been extended an invitation to the event.

A farewell reception will be held at Montvale Plaza in Stoneham following the address.

Stephanie Muccini Burke was voted in as Medford’s new mayor last week.
