Medford High Names New Girls Hockey Coach
Longtime head coach Dave McCarthy recently stepped down from the position.

Rayanne Forbes will be taking over the girls hockey program as head coach at Medford High School, the school announced Friday.
Coach Forbes is a graduate of Medford High and a former hockey player at Northeastern University. He played at Medford as well.
“As an athletic director, it is great to be able to hire a Medford homegrown graduate for a head coaching position,” athletic director Bob Maloney told the Boston Herald.

Longtime head coach Dave McCarthy recently stepped down from the position.
“We would like to thank Coach McCarthy for his outstanding professionalism both on the ice and off. Coach McCarthy consistently had the program tournament ready,” the school said in a statement.
