Medford Housing Renovation Project Nearing Completion

MEDFORD, MA — The Medford Housing Authority provided an update on the renovation project of the Saltonstall Building at 121 Riverside Ave.

The Saltonstall is a multi-unit affordable living space for seniors and people with disabilities that was first built in 1968. The large-scale renovation project began in early 2023 and is nearing completion with a projected finish in January.

The work began from the top of the building, with floors six through eleven being completed earlier this summer. The completion of the second floor and the start of the ground floor which includes the lobby, Edgerly Hall, and the Housing Authority Office is now underway as part of the project’s final phase.
