Medford Man Facing Double-Murder Charge Pleads Not Guilty: Report
Leonid Volkov, 37, was arrested Saturday in connection with the deaths of a married couple from Medford, WHDH reports.
MEDFORD, MA – Medford resident Leonid Volkov, 37, has pleaded not guilty on a murder charge in connection with the bodies of two men who were found dead in a storage unit on Saturday, WHDH reports.
Volkov was arrested in North Attleboro on Saturday in connection with the deaths of Kiryl Schukin, 37, and Pavel Veshkin, 28, a married couple from Medford.
Both men sustained stab wounds, according to WHDH, and had been missing since March 29.

They were found in a storage unit on North Beacon Street, which Volkov had been renting. Inside, investigators found the men’s bodies in storage bins. One of the bodies, tentatively identified as Schukin, had been dismembered, according to WHDH.
Volkov is currently being held without bail and is due back in court in May. Prosecutors say he could face additional charges at that time, WHDH reports.
