Medford Organization Collecting Halloween Costumes For Children

Medford Family Network is partnering with the MelroseKind to run this month's collection effort.

MEDFORD, MA — Organizations in Medford and Melrose are banding together this month to help families get Halloween costumes for their children.

The organizations Medford Family Network and MelroseKind are collaborating on the donation drive. Together, they’re looking for new and gently used Halloween costumes in sizes for children in kindergarten through eighth grade.

MelroseKind announced the drive on Monday. The organization is continuing its MelroseKind Collects program, which it launched earlier this year to run monthly collection drives for various causes.

Now gathering Halloween costumes, the program most recently benefited Melrose teachers by collecting paper towels, tissues and non-toxic wipes for classrooms.

The Medford Family Network is a no cost parenting education and family support organization, as noted in MelroseKind’s collection drive announcement this week. It dates back more than 25 years running various initiatives based in Medford.
