Medford Recreation Program Summer Job Lottery

This week the city of Medford posted information on their website regarding the upcoming lottery for jobs with the Medford Recreation Summer Program for 2013.

Lifeguards, bath house attendants and park instructors are sought for this year's program. The pool and pond programs are tentatively scheduled to run from July 1 to Aug. 25, while the park program will run from July 8 to Aug. 16. The programs are subject to funding approval.

Applications are available in Room 204 of Medford City Hall, the athletic department at Medford High School or here at the city website. You must be at least 16 years old to apply and those seeking a lifeguard position must hold CPR/First Aid certification and lifeguard training. A CORI check is also conducted.

Applications need to be received by April 30 and the lottery will be held May 6.
