MEDFORD, MA — A Medford High School teacher is spending his off-hours taking the fight to the coronavirus. Jack Paster, a science teacher, also works as a COVID-19 vaccinator with Cataldo Ambulance Service at Fenway Park.
Paster has been involved in emergency medicine at some level for over 50 years, starting with CPR and first aid training as a teenager. A Saturday session with the American Red Cross led to a lifelong career in pre-hospital medicine and teaching.
"Some people spend their whole lives wondering if they've made a difference," Paster said in a statement. "In Emergency Medical Services and teaching, we don't have that problem!"
