Medford Woman Robbed At Knifepoint In Home: Police
Police are searching for a suspect in a home invasion on Main Street early Monday.
MEDFORD, MA — Police are looking for a man who broke into an apartment on Main Street and robbed a woman at knifepoint early Monday. The woman told police she awoke to a strange sound around 3:35 a.m. and found the man in her home.
The man was armed with a knife and demanded money and her laptop, the woman told police. He fled out the back door with the laptop after she started screaming, police said.
Police described the suspect as a thin, bald, dark-skinned male, standing about 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall and wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and jeans.

"We do not know if this address was targeted for any specific reason or if this was a random act of violence," Medford police said in a statement. "The victim was not physically hurt."
