Medford's Curtis Tufts Grads Defined By 'Who They've Become'
"It's not about who you were; it's about who you've become," said graduating senior.

MEDFORD, MA - The graduates of Medford's Curtis Tufts school each overcame a lot to graduate and their success, not their struggles, will define them.
Vincent Riley and Anne-Kerry Germain, graduating seniors spoke on behalf of the senior class at yesterday's thirty-fifth Curtis Tufts graduation at the Irish American Club in Malden. “It’s not about who you were; it’s about who you’ve become," said Germain. The Keynote Address was delivered by Kristen Connor, probation case specialist.
Students Lance Yodzio and Justin Moyer presented an appreciation award to David DiMattia, for his 27 years of service to the Medford Public Schools, stating: “Mr. DiMattia is a teacher, coach and positive role model. His desire is to help students discover who they are and become the very best they can be. One of his greatest attributes is his jovial personality that can make the heaviest of situations feel light."
Members of the graduating class were Anne-Kerry Germain, Vincent Riley, Albert “AJ” Lanni-Schwarz, Alex Smith, Pema Tenzin, and Michael Zizzo, who received their diplomas from Mayor Stephanie Burke.
