Medford's Hourly Forecast: Heavy Rain, Potential Flooding Wednesday

Rain is expected to fall Wednesday morning at a rate of a half inch to an inch an hour during heavier bands, which will cause ponding of water on the roadways with pockets of drainage flooding.

Drivers should use extra caution while traveling Wednesday morning and throughout the afternoon into the evening.

A flood watch is in effect into Thursday morning.

Rain will continue throughout Wednesday into Wednesday night before clearing up after midnight. Come Thursday expect occasional rain showers in the afternoon and early evening hours before it transitions to steady rain late Thursday night. Even more rain is on tap for Friday and through the weekend.
