Medford's Improved Bond Rating Comes at the Right Time

Medford officials got some good news from Standard & Poors, and it came at just the right time.

The city’s bond rating improved from A+ to AA-, according to a report in the Boston Globe. The better bond rating

The improved rating was announced just as Medford officials look to issue $5.8 million in bonds for the new high school science labs.

Standard & Poors based the rating on the improved financial performance and because the city looks to see improved growth in its taxbase, according to the report.
