A 44-year-old Melrose man who crashed his car was high and using his phone to text on Saturday, May 28, Wakefield police said.
MELROSE, MA - A 44-year-old Melrose man who crashed his car was high and using his phone to text on Saturday, May 28, police said.
Wakefield Police reported the crash was on Main Street in Wakefield. The Melrose man was speeding, police said. The driver was summonsed to court for operating under the influence of drugs second offense and negligent operation of a motor vehicle while sending or reading text messages and speeding.
