Murray Visits Medford Voc-Tech School

Lieutenant governor toured the local school Thursday.

Massachusetts Lt. Gov. Tim Murray toured the Medford Vocational Technical High School Thursday afternoon, taking a look at the varied programs the school offers to local students.

Murray was hosted by school director Dr. William C. Mahoney and Medford School Superintendent Roy Belson. State Rep. Paul Donato and Mayor Michael McGlynn went along for the visit.

The purpose of Murray's visit was to "highlight science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education and competitive grants for vocational programs to pursue," according to his office.

Murray also visited schools in Salem, Middleton and Wakefield Thursday.
