Several dozen turned out for the "Alice in Fashionland" show Thursday night at Winchester High School in the Auditorium. The fashion show, based off the classic tale "Alice in Wonderland," served as a fundraiser for the high school art department. Admission to the show cost $5 for students and $10 for adults. The designs were inspired by the 1951 film "Alice in Wonderland," as well as Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland" released in 2010. - Mark Ouellette

Melrose

Home and condominium sales dipped in Melrose in February, according to a recent report by The Warren Group, publisher of Banker & Tradesman. "Two factors caused this modest drop in February: low inventory and a comparison with a strong previous year of sales," said Timothy M.Warren Jr., CEO of The Warren Group, in the report. "Even so, I'm still hopeful for a strong spring market. As more sellers list their homes in the spring, activity will pick back up." - Mark Ouellette
