On the Agenda: Police Station Locations, Parking Garage Update
Highlights from the Medford City Council's agenda.

The Medford City Council will hold subcommittee and a committee of the whole meetings before it's regular 7 p.m. meeting Tuesday.
At 5:45 p.m., the council will hold a committee of the whole meeting to receive an update on the Proposed Governors Avenue parking garage and parking management request for proposal.
At 6 p.m., the council's subcommittee on public safety will meet to discuss possible alternative locations to build a new police department headquarters. The subcommittee, chaired by Councilor Richard Caraviello, has invited Chief Leo Sacco to attend the meeting.

Both pre-meeting meetings will be held in room 207 at City Hall.
The council's 7 p.m. meeting includes a public hearing for Medford Gas at 85 Main Street, which is seeking a license to offer used car sales.

The council is also expected to discuss the following resolutions:
- Be it Resolved that in light of the upcoming Cradock Bridge repairs and due to the traffic concerns and public safety issues that the bus stop location at 9-15 and 21 Main street be either changed or eliminated on or before July 1st in order for bus patrons having enough time to adjust to either the location change or its elimination. (Brought by Councilor Robert Penta)
- Be it Resolved that the Mayor immediately appropriate funding for light
installation in the Rt 16 public parking lot behind St. Joseph's Church for which the city has control over in the interest of public safety. (Councilor Robert Penta) - Be it Resolved that the trash in Medford Square be discussed. (Councilor Robert Penta)
