On the Agenda: Police Station Review, High School Science Lab Updates

A look at items from this week's agenda.

The Medford City Council will hold its first meeting in about a month Tuesday, starting with a committee of the whole meeting at 5:30 p.m. in room 207 at City Hall.

The councilors will hear an update on a review of the Medford Police Department's facilities from consultants and city officials during the committee of the whole meeting, followed by an update on a proposed $13.8 million high school science lab overhaul, according to an agenda.

Last week, Mayor Michael McGlynn sent a letter to the council, urging it to act on the science lab proposal, which is eligible for 60 percent reimbursement from the state. In order to remain eligible, the city has to stay track with state-imposed deadlines, according to McGlynn.
