One of State's Highest Risk Sex Offenders Wanted By Medford PD

A list recently released by State Police of the ten most wanted high risk sex offenders includes one man with an outstanding warrant in Medford.

Steven Hescock, 34, is a level 3 sex offender with outstanding warrants for failure to Register as a Sex Offender and two counts of larceny in Revere, and an additional warrant on larceny charges in Medford, according to the release from State Police.

In 1994, Hescock was sentenced to 3 to 5 years in state prison for rape. He has a history of theft which includes breaking and entering in the night time, police said.

Hescock is described as 6' 1", about 230 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He has tattoos on his left arm and hand.

Level three is the highest level sex offender. The rating is determined by the Sex Offender Registry Board, if they believe the risk of reoffense is high and the offender is considered highly dangerous.
