Patricia Rabbit, 80, Lifelong Medford Resident

Patricia A. (Gearaghty) Rabbit of Medford died on July 22 at the age of 80.

She was the daughter of the late Joseph F. and Florence M. (Daley) Gearaghty. She is survived by her children John Rabbitt, Jr. and his wife Patricia of Winchester, James of Tewksbury, Brian of Somerville and daughter-in-law of Cheryl of Medford, and her grandchildren James Jr., Joseph and Kristin Rabbitt and great-grandchildren Alanna, Declan and Kellan Rabbitt, according to an obituary on the Dello Russo Family Funeral Home webisite.

She worked as a telephone operator until retiring.

Her funeral will be at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. in Medford on Friday, July 26, at 8 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St. in Medford, at 9 a.m. Visiting hours are Thursday 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Wildwood Cemetery in Winchester.
