This is Cooper, a 1 and a half year old neutered male.
He’s a bit nervous here at the shelter but luckily he was given an opportunity to spend some time in a foster home where he was able to show his true colors. It did take him a few days to get comfortable in foster but once he felt safe and settled he opened right up. With Cooper, a slow approach is best. He loves attention but would like to get to know new people slowly before a full on snuggle session.
Once he’s opened up, he really enjoys being petted. One of his cute quirks is that he likes to burrow under his bed and blankets to make a little nest. He has spent a bit of time in our cat playgroups and does well with other mellow cats. So if you have a quiet home and are looking for a sweet and mellow cat, Coop is your man.
