PHOTOS: Grammy Award Winner Reads to Medford Elementary Schoolers

On March 2, in honor of Dr. Seuss’ birthday, the McGlynn Elementary School held “Read Across America,” an event promoting literacy for all.

In addition to Medford Mayor Michael McGlynn serving as a guest reader, first grade students in Carol Rickenbacker’s class were lucky enough to meet Medford’s own Terri Lyne Carrington, who recently won a Grammy for Best Jazz vocal album.
