Police Log: Man Charged with Assault on Police, Report of Counterfeit Money at Tedeschi's

A Saugus man faces three charges after allegedly assaulting a police officer.

William Bielski, 35, was arrested at 200 Governors Ave. -- the address of Lawrence Memorial Hospital -- about 3 p.m. Sunday and charged with distrurbing the peace, resisting arrest and assault and battery on a police officer, according to the police log.

The log also included a report of counterfeit money from Tedeschi's food store on Main Street in South Medford on Saturday morning.
