Police Log: Teen Arrested for Fifth Time Since November

A Spring Street Extension man was arrested for the fifth time in four months Monday.

Andrew Schiavo, 18, of 303 Spring St. Extension was arrested at about 8 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 7 on outstanding warrants for marked lanes violation and unlicensed operation of motor vehicle, according to the Medford police log.

Schiavo was previously charged with larceny of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of property damage, receiving a stolen motor vehicle and operating under the influence of drugs on Dec. 26, 2010.

Before that, Schiavo was arrested in Medford on three other occasions since Nov. 13.

On Nov. 30 he was arrested and charged with receiving a stolen vehicle and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. On Nov. 13 and charged with drug possession - class b, drug possession - class c, and disturbing the peace; and on Nov. 20, when he was brought in on an outstanding warrant.

Schiavo was one of nine people arrested between Feb. 7 and Feb. 10.
