Police Log: Teen Arrested for Seventh Time in Six Months; Attempted Kidnapping at Columbus School
Medford police log; April 11 to April 14, 2011

A Spring Street extension man was arrested for the seventh time since November, according to police.
Andrew Schiavo, 18, of 303 Spring Street Extension, was arrested on Fellsway West about 8 a.m. Tuesday and charged with receiving a stolen motor vehicle, according to police records.
Schiavo was arrested at about 9:30 p.m. on Grant Avenue on Tuesday, March 29, and charged with outstanding warrants of receiving stolen property valued over $250, and felonious daytime breaking and entering, according to Medford Police records.

Schiavo was previously arrested on Monday, Feb. 7 on outstanding warrants for marked lanes violation and unlicensed operation of motor vehicle, according to the Medford police log.
Before that, he was charged with larceny of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of property damage, receiving a stolen motor vehicle and operating under the influence of drugs on Dec. 26, 2010.

Schiavo was arrested in Medford on three other occasions since Nov. 13.
On Nov. 30 he was arrested and charged with receiving a stolen vehicle and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. On Nov. 13 and charged with drug possession - class b, drug possession - class c, and disturbing the peace; and on Nov. 20, when he was brought in on an outstanding warrant.
Attempted Kidnapping at Columbus School
Police responded to Columbus School on Hicks Avenue near the end of the school day Monday for a reported kidnapping, according to the log. The report was taken at 3:12 p.m.
