Police Log: Traffic Stop on Highway Ramp Leads to Drug Charge

Medford police log, Friday, March 2 to Sunday, March 4, 2012.

A man stopped Friday on the ramp to I-93 was faces a drug charge, according to the police log.

Vincent Berte, 50, was stopped on the ramp leading to I-93 North in Medford just before 2 p.m. Friday after allegedly failing to stop or yield. The stop lead to police charging Berte with possession of a drug with intent to distribute, accordinhg to the police log.

  • ARREST: 9:02 p.m., 184 Winthrop St. Info: Seth Cromwell, 28, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon
