Remembering 9/11: Medford High Teacher Explains How He Teaches 9/11 [VIDEO]

Medford High teacher Nick Tucci brings 9/11 to the Classroom.

Medford High School History Teacher Nick Tucci has been teaching for six years now, and each year puts a little distance between his students and the attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon.

“When I first started teaching, a lot of my students were a lot more aware of the events of 9/11; they lived through it a little more than the students I’m now teaching," Tucci said. "The students now, you can do the math, they were pretty young.”

The textbooks he uses don't have any entries on 9/11, so Tucci uses videos on the web, his personal memories and the experiences of others to teach students about the attacks and the aftermath.
