A man arrested following a road rage incident in Medford has a history of volatile behavior.

A Charlestown man arrested for allegedly pointing a gun at another driver in Medford has a history of volatile behavior.
In an interview with the Boston Herald, Adam Perea said Gary Pimental, 20, previously punched him over a disagreement regarding french fries.
The two got into the scuffle following a Celtics game in February when Pimental, who was working at the TD Garden McDonald’s, refused to serve Perea fries.

“He said something about fries and then he hit me in the face,” Perea told the newspaper.
On Tuesday, Pimental was arrested on Interstate 93 in Medford after waving a fake firearm in the face of another motorist, state police said. He was arraigned in Somerville District Court Thursday on charges of assault and battery. A judge ordered him held without bail.

Perea said Pimental “has some anger issues” and that he “needs some help.”
