Soccer Coach to Return; Wildflower Walk Monday Morning

In a press conference Saturday morning, Headmaster Paul Krueger said he had reversed his decision and would bring back head soccer coach Mike Petrides next season. Krueger said he felt not bringing the coach back would have been potentially polarizing to the community.

Join Boot Boutwell at the South Border entrance of Middlesex Fells Reservation at 9:15 a.m. today for a walk focusing on wildflowers growing in the fells. It's free and open to all.

The family of a Malden boy who drowned in a Malden pool last week are “still trying to cope with things." Josue "Josh" Eltume, 11, was going to be in sixth grade at Salemwood School this fall and loved to play football, was pronounced dead at Children's Hospital a day after arriving from the incident at 11 Wheeler St.
