Softball Tournament This Weekend Honors Medford Marathon Bombing Victim
The second annual Krystle Campbell Softball Tournament takes place April 18 and 19 in Medford.

For the second year in a row, Medford residents will take a swing or two in honor of a fallen hometown native this weekend.
Saturday and Sunday will mark the second annual Krystle Campbell Softball Tournament at Columbus Park - 37 Hick Ave.
Campbell, originally from Medford, was one of the three people immediately killed during the 2013 Boston Marathon Bombings.

On Saturday, Mayor Michael McGlynn will be on hand for the the opening ceremony at 10:30 a.m., wherein Billy and Patty Campbell will throw the first pitch.
Proceeds will benefit the Krystle Campbell Medford Strong Scholarship Award, annually awarded to a Medford High School graduating senior.
