Somerville Man Charged With OUI In Wellington Station Crash
Police said Jesse Santasuosso lost control of his pickup truck in the busway, drove over a sidewalk and crashed into the handicap ramp.
MEDFORD, MA — A Somerville man is facing a drunken driving charge in connection with a crash at Wellington Station on Jan. 6.
Jesse Santasuosso, 27, illegally drove his pickup truck through an excluded way at the station's busway, lost control and went up and over the pedestrian sidewalk, crashing into the handicap ramp, transit police said.
The crash happened at 11:40 a.m., police said. No injuries were reported.

Police said Santasuosso showed signs and behavior consistent with intoxication and failed sobriety tests at the scene. He was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor.
