What's Open, Closed on Patriots' Day?
City and state offices will not be open today because of the Massachusetts holiday.
Here's a handy list of what's open and closed on the holiday:
- Municipal, state and county offices: Closed.
- Medford Public Library: Closed.
- Medford schools: Closed, on vacation this week.
- Post offices: Open.
- Banks: Banks generally close only on federal holidays. Call ahead, find your bank in our directory.
- MBTA: Service information available here.
- Trash/Recycling: Regular schedule delayed by one day all week, Friday pickup will be Saturday.
