MEDFORD, MA — The Thanksgiving holiday will mean widespread closures affecting most businesses and government operations. But there will be a few important services will be available.

Here's what's open and closed in Medford on Thanksgiving 2021:

Coronavirus test sites:

PhysicianOne Urgent Care Medford: Open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Lawrence Memorial Hospital: Closed Thanksgiving Day

Walgreens - Station Lndg - Medford: By appointment only

Fast food: Chains like McDonald's, Dunkin', Starbucks and Subway might be open, but hours may vary from store to store.

Government: City Hall, schools and the library are closed. The U.S. Postal Service will not deliver mail on Thanksgiving.
