Danvers Woman Taken To Hospital After Lynnfield I-95 Crash

The crash caused heavy delays along I-95 on Thursday morning, according to reports.

LYNNFIELD, MA — A Danvers woman was taken to the hospital for a possible injury after a two-car crash on I-95 in Lynnfield near the Lynnfield/Wakefield town line on Thursday morning, according to State Police.

The crash took place just after 9:20 a.m. near Exit 60 on the southbound side of I-95 involving a 27-year-old Danvers woman and a 28-year-old Gilmanton, NH man, police said. The Danvers woman was brought to Lahey Hospital in Burlington, according to police.

The crash drew an emergency response from the Lynnfield Fire Department in addition to State Police troopers.

WBZ Traffic reported heavy delays after the crash scene cleared, with backups seen stretching into Peabody, according to the news outlet.

This crash was still under investigation as of Thursday afternoon, according to State Police.
