Bond for MHS improvement designs before aldermen; tax help at the Milano Center; MHS PTO meets.

2) How can we be expected to teach children to learn how to read if they can't even fit inside the building? The Melrose Board of Aldermen have their regular meeting tonight at 7:45 p.m., and on the agenda is a request from the mayor to borrow $250,000 for design and project management services for Melrose High School improvements. This will likely be sent to committee for discussion.

3) Here's one for you, 19 for me: Tax Day is coming up. Melrose residents who are disabled and over 60 with low to moderate incomes can get assistance with I. Appointments may be made by calling 781-665-4304 mornings. Time permitting, walk-ins will be seen on a first-come, first-serve basis, after appointments.
4) 'Cause they're goin' to high school, rah, rah, rah, high school, sis, boom, bah: The Melrose High School PTO . The MHS Principal's report will be followed by guest speaker, Maureen Buzby, Mystic Valley Tobacco Alcohol Prevention Program (MVTAP) coordinator, who will talk about OTPs (other tobacco products) available and explain the tactics used by the industry to target children.
