2) Books are well written, or badly written. That is all: The Melrose Public Library's (pictured). Braver is the award-winning and bestselling author of eight critically acclaimed psychological thrillers, his latest being Tunnel Vision. Flora is the author of twelve books, including seven Thea Kozak mysteries, the latest of which is Stalking Death, a stand-alone suspense novel, and three in her Portland, Maine based Joe Burgess police procedural series, the latest of which is Redemption.

3) It's my life: Hallmark Health System is running the knowledge and skills needed to take a more active role in their healthcare. Those caring for someone with a chronic health condition are also welcome to attend. The workshop starts today and meets Tuesdays from 1-3:30 p.m. at the (inside the Franklin Early Childhood Center, 16 Franklin St.) This program is free, however registration is required. 4) We were born to run: The Melrose Running Club Walk To Run Program is a 10-week program for individuals interested in becoming beginner runners. —arrived at 6:45 p.m. to submit your application. The group will then meet each Tuesday night for an organized workout and be expected to repeat that week's routine on their own a few times during the week. Walk to Run is modeled after several nationally developed programs and is designed to develop a beginner runner capable of running continuously for 30 minutes. The 10-week program costs $30 and includes an individual membership to the Running Club for the rest of 2012.
