Mass Premier Soccer would like to congratulate the 2011 U15 Lady Knights who defied all expectations by reaching the prestigious USL Super Y League Nationals this Dec 1-6 in Tampa, Florida.
This success shows the MPS Lady Knights program has grown from strength to strength since its inception in 2008. The Program contains some of the most exciting female talent from North Shore towns like Melrose (Haleigh Butler- Arlington Catholic, Kristin Randolph- Austin Prep), Woburn (Erin Kimmelman- Woburn HS), Winchester (Deirdre Macrorie and Claire Ferguson- Winchester HS, Emma Goff- Brooks Academy), Reading (Jillian Small and Allie Claroni- Reading HS, Caroline Burke- Brooks Academy), Wakefield (Madison Shaw- Austin Prep), Tewksbury (Alexa Poulin- Central Catholic, Aly Spencer and Rebecca Davies- Tewksbury HS), Boxford (Kim Cosgrove- Masconomet Reg. HS), Lowell (Sarah Comtois- Lowell HS) and Methuen (Alexa Cicolini- Methuen HS) .
“It is really pleasing to see the work we do in practice has shown on the field. I feel all of the girls have developed as players this season. The MPS premier curriculum, which all of our coaches abide by, has been implemented in all of our practices and I feel the U15 Lady Knights have demonstrated that they have benefitted from this by reaching the Super Y League Nationals” said MPS U15 (rising U16) Lady Knights Head Coach Amy Walsh.

The scope of MPS provides players the optimum opportunity to develop as athletes and as people by fostering an identity of excellence.
