From our humble beginnings at a table on Congress Street during Portland's First Friday Artwalk, we've grown into a beloved household service with a big climate impact. Today, we service more than 40,000 households, schools, restaurants, businesses, and events across the region. We're expanding our reach with the vision of bringing convenient curbside composting to communities throughout New England. Our ethos is simple: make composting approachable, convenient, and impactful while supporting local economies. Through our work, we're tackling one of the largest contributors to greenhouse gas emissions—food waste in landfills—and turning it into a resource that nourishes the region's soil and farms.

But many local men and women will not be able to spend the holidays with their family and friends. They are members of the military who are deployed overseas, serving our country to ensure that those of us at home are able to celebrate the holidays in peace and safety. Help us say "thank you" and send a little holiday spirit to our servicemen and women! is collecting non-perishable holiday items such as candy canes, decorations and holiday music, as well as card and letters to send to local troops stationed in Afghanistan.   All donations should be brought to the high school by Friday, Dec. 16. Collection boxes are available in the Main Office or in Room 138. Thank you for joining us in this effort.
